Kylee Slade
Individual Psychotherapy Session
Hello, and welcome! I’m a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
I work with adolescents, and adults using a client-centered approach, always aiming to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and respected.
In therapy, I address a wide range of mental health concerns using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My goal is to support you in developing tools and strategies that foster resilience, growth, and well-being.
My Journey Begins
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University. I founded Slade Psychotherapy out of a passion for holistic, client-centered care. I wanted to create a space where compassion and evidence-based treatment come together to support individuals through life’s challenges.
In addition to my psychotherapy training, I have a background in sleep health from my work as a sleep technician. This experience has deepened my understanding of how sleep—or lack of it—affects every aspect of our lives. I offer specialized support for insomnia and other sleep-related concerns, and I often work with individuals facing the emotional toll that poor sleep can bring.
Sleep issues rarely exist in isolation. I frequently support clients dealing with anxiety and depression, which often go hand-in-hand with disrupted sleep. These challenges can feel overwhelming and deeply interconnected, but with the right tools and support, positive change is absolutely possible.
I work with adolescents, and adults using a collaborative, client-centered approach. In our work together, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where your goals, experiences, and strengths guide the process. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build insight, resilience, and lasting skills for managing life’s difficulties.
Wherever you are in your journey, Slade Psychotherapy is here to support you in moving forward—one step at a time.
